Try the public demo and keep your account
The public demo lets you explore Nexus before you install it. You pick an industry and land in a filled sample account. You do not connect any data.
You open the demo from its own web page, not from Shopify Admin. You do not need to install Nexus.
WARNING
If you are already signed in to Nexus, the demo page sends you to the app. Sign out first if you want to start a demo.
Open the demo
- Open the demo page. Its title is See Nexus with your kind of store.
- Under Which industry are you in?, choose one industry. The first industry is already selected. An industry can show a short description under its name.
- If the page shows an Email (optional) field, you can enter your email address. Nexus uses it only to send you a link to keep the account later. You can start without it.
- Select Explore the demo.
The button reads Setting up your demo… while Nexus builds your account. Then you land in the app, on sample data.
If something goes wrong, the page tells you:

Switch industry
An amber bar stays at the top of every page. It reads You're exploring sample data. A drop-down in the bar shows your current industry and lists the others.
Choose another industry in the drop-down. Nexus loads that sample store.
Limits of the demo
WARNING
The demo account is temporary until you keep it. Every action that changes data is blocked, except choosing or switching the industry and Keep this account.
Nothing you try in Studio, Library, Campaigns, Dismiss, Concepts or Angles is saved.
When you try a blocked action, a notice with red text appears at the bottom of the screen. It reads This action is not available in the public demo. A second line says: Use "Keep this account" in the demo bar at the top of the page to set up your own workspace, where this action works. The notice stays until you select the X at its right edge.

Keep this account
- In the amber bar, select Keep this account.
- Enter your email address in the email field.
- Select Send link. The button reads Sending… while Nexus works.
When the link is sent, the bar shows Check your inbox to finish setting up your account.
If the address is not valid, the form says Enter a valid email address. If Nexus cannot send the email, the form shows an error. Try again later.
Confirm the link
- Open the email and select the link. It opens the page Keep your Nexus account.
- Check the address shown after Confirming. You cannot edit it. It is the address the link verified.
- Enter your name if you want. This field is optional.
- Enter a Password. It needs at least 6 characters.
- Select Keep my account.
Nexus then opens a page that welcomes you and asks you to create your first brand. Select Create Your First Brand to continue.
WARNING
A confirmation link expires after 24 hours. When you ask for a new link, it replaces the old one. The old link stops working.
If the link has expired, the page reads This link is no longer valid. Start the demo again and use Keep this account to send a new link. The page offers Back to the demo and Sign in.
