Review a batch and use the creatives you like
When a batch finishes, you choose which images to keep. Open a batch from Create > Creative Batches. Use the images you like and Nexus sends them to Studio. Nothing reaches Studio until you use it.
Problem and intended user
The creative strategist (the person who plans and makes ad creatives) gets many images from one batch. Only some are good enough to run. Each campaign type also needs its own sizes and ad copy. Without a clear review step, good images sit unused or go out in the wrong size. The media buyer (the person who runs your paid ads) needs the chosen images ready for a Meta or Google campaign.
Current workflow
Without Nexus, the creative strategist reviews images in a folder or a shared design file. An agency or a design tool crops each chosen image for every placement. The media buyer then types the headline and primary text in Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads and uploads the files by hand.
Prerequisites
- A finished batch with at least one image. See Generate a creative batch.
- Credits for the actions that use credits: Adjust, new sizes and a landing page. The dialog or the Billing page shows the cost.
How Nexus works
An AI model made the images in the batch. Adjust asks the model to make an image again. Fixed rules decide which sizes each campaign type needs. Nexus makes the extra sizes you choose and writes the ad copy. It never draws the copy on the picture.
Nothing reaches Studio until you select Use selected or Use and confirm the Choose campaign types dialog.
Adjust one image
Select Adjust on an image. The Adjust dialog opens. Describe the change, then choose a button. The text box holds up to 1,000 characters.
- Tweak edits the current image. Example: change the sweater from green to yellow.
- Redo makes a new image from the original prompt plus your words.
WARNING
Tweak and Redo each make a new image, so each one costs credits. A price badge in the dialog shows the cost.
The old image stays visible until the new one lands. A new adjustment replaces the previous one. To go back one step, select Undo. The button appears after an adjustment. If a change does not start, adjust again. You are not charged twice.
If you already used the image, adjusting does not change the Studio Set you sent. The Set keeps the old picture.
Choose the images
Tick the images you want. Or select Select all in the floating bar. The bar then shows how many you selected.
- Use selected keeps them and opens the Choose campaign types dialog.
- Discard selected marks them as discarded. A Set already in Studio stays where it is.
Each image also has Use and Discard for a single decision. An image you already used shows Use again.
Choose campaign types
Every image is saved at 1:1. This dialog adds the other sizes each campaign needs.
- Under Target platforms, select Meta, Google or both. Nothing is selected for you.
- Tick one or more campaign types. A type lists the sizes it needs. req marks required sizes. Nexus selects them when you tick the type.
- Choose any optional sizes you want.
- Switch Headline, primary text & CTA on or off for each platform. Google needs a headline, so this switch starts on for Google. For Meta it starts off. If you switch it off for Google, the Set has no headline. Google does not run the ad without one, so write a headline in Studio before you deploy.
- Optional: in the Landing page section, switch on Landing page for Meta or Landing page for Google. Nexus writes one landing page as a draft for each platform you switch on, not one for each creative. It uses credits, and the dialog footer shows the cost. If Nexus has not learned your store's style yet, the switch stays off and a note offers a Go to Landing pages link. See Landing Pages.
- Select the primary button.
| Platform | Campaign type | Required sizes | Optional sizes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta | Single image | 1:1 | None |
| Meta | Multi-aspect | 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 | 1.91:1 |
| Meta | Carousel | 1:1 | None |
| Responsive Display Ad | 1.91:1, 1:1 | 4:3, 8:1, 4:15 | |
| Performance Max | 1.91:1, 1:1 | 4:5, 9:16 | |
| Demand Gen | 1.91:1, 1:1 | 4:5, 9:16 |
A Carousel needs at least 2 images and takes at most 10. If you skip a required size, the dialog warns you. The Set cannot deploy there until you add the size.
WARNING
Ticking both platforms saves each image once per platform, with its own copy. If you already used an image, using it again adds a second Set. Nexus leaves the first one as it is.
The primary button names the result: Use and produce N more, Use — no new sizes needed, Use as a single image or Use as a carousel (N cards). The cost badge in the dialog footer shows the credits for new sizes and for landing pages. Sizes that already exist, or that two types share, are made once. The summary line at the bottom of the dialog counts the creative sets before you confirm. When you pick more than one image and tick Carousel, the line counts one Carousel Set for each image. A Carousel makes one Set for all the images, so the real total is lower.
Add missing aspects later
Each image has a row of size chips, such as 1:1 and + 4:5. Select a size marked + to stage it. Then select Add missing aspects in the floating bar. The button shows how many sizes you staged, and a price badge shows the cost. Nexus makes the sizes and adds them to the image.
Exact output
You get a results grid, then one Studio Set for each campaign type.
Read the results grid
Nexus groups the images in one block for each angle and product pair. The block heading names the angle and the product. Inside a block, each model has its own column.
Each image has a checkbox and its own buttons. A chip shows Used or Discarded once you decide. Select an image to enlarge it. In the viewer, use the Previous creative and Next creative buttons, or the arrow keys, to step through the batch.
Where the images go
Each Single image, Multi-aspect, Responsive Display Ad, Performance Max or Demand Gen type you tick makes one Studio Set for each image. A Carousel makes one Studio Set that holds all the selected images as cards. A used image shows a View in Studio link. The same link sits in the floating bar. In Creative Batches, the See in Studio column shows Open for the batch. See Studio.
What to do with it
| What you see | Decision or action | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| An image close to what you want, but wrong in one detail | Select Adjust, then Tweak or Redo | creative strategist |
| Images you want to run | Select Use selected, then pick platforms, campaign types and sizes | creative strategist |
| Images you do not want | Select Discard selected or Discard | creative strategist |
| A size chip marked + | Stage it, then select Add missing aspects | creative strategist |
| View in Studio on a used image | Check the copy, then turn the Set into an ad. See Review and deploy ads | media buyer |
Expected value and measurement
This step can help you send the images you judge strongest to Studio in the sizes each campaign needs, without cropping and copying by hand.
To check it, open Create > Studio and confirm that each used image has a Creative Set for every campaign type you ticked. A Carousel gives one Creative Set for the whole selection, not one for each image. Once the ads run, open Performance > Ad performance and read Spend and ROAS for ads built from this batch next to your earlier ads, over the same dates. No Nexus page scores the review step itself. Other changes at the same time can hide the effect.
Limitations and exceptions
- AI output can be wrong. An image can show a wrong detail, and the ad copy can miss your brand voice. Check both before you run them.
- Adjust can fail. Nexus can refuse an instruction and shows the reason next to the text box. A creative can only be adjusted a limited number of times, and Undo counts as one change. When you reach the limit, the dialog says: "This creative has been changed 10 times. Generate a new batch to keep exploring it." Adjust stays off while an image is generating or if it failed.
- Some images fail. A banner says how many. Nexus retried each one once. The images that did generate are not affected.
- An image needs manual reconciliation. A red banner says so. Do not retry it. Contact support.
- Batch statuses. Creative Batches shows a status for each batch. Failed means no usable images. Stalled means the batch stopped responding, so start a new one. Needs attention means Nexus needs staff to check an image. Do not retry it. Contact support. See Contact support.
- Demo Mode. In Demo Mode, Nexus refuses to use, discard, adjust or resize images.
