Creative batches reference: cards, columns, badges and the ⋯ menu
This page defines the parts of a creative batch in Create > Creative batches. For finding, filtering and opening batches, see Creative batches.
A card
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Preview | The newest images of the creative batch that you did not discard, in a small grid. While images are being made it reads "Generating" and how many are still coming. With no image yet it reads "Not generated yet". When you discarded every image it reads "All results discarded". |
| Starting point and badges | The starting point, such as Angle, Product, Job to be done or Similar to an ad, then the badges. The review state badge is always there. A second badge, before it, shows while the creative batch is generating, or when it failed or needs attention. |
| Title | The name of the angle the creative batch started from. A batch built from a job to be done or from a product, and a similar-ad batch, show the name of the product. |
| Batch name | The name you gave the creative batch. Without one, its angle and product, or only its product. (Onboarding) follows the name when the setup wizard started the creative batch. Edited prompt follows it when the prompt of the batch was changed. |
| Product | The product's picture and name. A product that is no longer in your catalog keeps its name, with a plain tile instead of the picture. With no name on record, it reads Product no longer exists. |
| Count and date | For a batch under review, how many images are left to review out of how many were made, for example "2 of 5 to review". Otherwise how many images the batch holds and how many you kept. The date is the day of the latest change. Hover or focus it to see when the batch was created and, after any change, when it was updated. |
| Action | The button that opens the batch, then the ⋯ button when it has anything to show. |
The list view
In List view, the columns are Creative batch, Products, Status, Outputs, Last updated and Actions. Last updated reads Created and the date and time for a batch nothing has changed since it began, and Updated after a change. Select a column title to sort by it. Select it again to reverse the order. The Sort button then names the order in force.
Review states and badges
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | No image has come out of the creative batch yet. |
| Under review | At least one image is still waiting for Keep or Discard. You can still generate more, adjust settings or explore ideas while a batch is under review. |
| Reviewed | You kept or discarded every image. |
| Generating | Nexus is still making images. The list updates when it finishes. This badge is neutral. |
| Failed | The creative batch finished with no usable images. |
| Needs attention | The creative batch stopped responding, or Nexus could not confirm the result of an image and does not retry it on its own. |
Failed and Needs attention show in red because you may need to act. If you are unsure, see Contact support.
The ⋯ menu
The ⋯ button sits beside the action button on each batch. Its name reads "More actions for" and the batch name. It shows only when the batch has something to offer.
Rename a creative batch
Give creative batches of the same angle names that tell them apart.
- Select the ⋯ button on the batch.
- Select Rename. A window titled Rename creative batch opens.
- Batch name shows the name the batch has now. Replace it with the new name, for example "v3, colder lighting". The field holds up to 120 characters.
- Select Save. Select Cancel to close the window without saving.
To remove your name, save an empty field. A batch you never named shows its angle and product as the name; save it unchanged and it stays automatic. The creative batch goes back to a name made from its angle and product, or only its product when it has no angle. If the save fails, the window stays open and says "Couldn’t rename this batch. Try again."
Open a batch in Creatives
When you have kept creatives from a batch, the ⋯ menu also holds See in Creatives. Select it. Create > Creatives opens in a new tab and shows only the creatives from that batch. The batch filter there then reads Batch followed by a short code. Open it and choose All batches to see every creative again.
A batch with no kept creative has no See in Creatives. Select Keep on its images to add some. See Review and keep your creatives.
