What is Nexus

Nexus is an app that runs inside Shopify Admin. It reads your store, ad and review data. It shows you what changed and why. It helps you make new ads, and it measures how those ads do.

You do not create a separate login. You install Nexus from Shopify and open it from your Shopify Admin menu.

What Nexus does

Nexus works in four steps.

  1. It reads your data. Your Shopify store connects when you install. You can add your ad accounts, Google Analytics 4, Triple Whale, your review apps and Blueshift. Each source adds detail to your numbers.
  2. It shows what changed and why. Nexus looks for signals in your products, customers, customer experience and ads. It ranks each signal as a finding. Rules and statistics find the signals, not an AI model.
  3. It helps you create ads. Nexus finds advertising angles, offers concepts, generates batches of ad images, lets you edit them and sends approved ads to Meta Ads or Google Ads.
  4. It measures the result. Nexus shows which ads make money, which ones tire out and which new ads need a closer look.

INFO

Some actions use credits. The action dialog or the Billing page shows the cost. Setup, including your first batch of ads in the setup wizard, uses no credits. Read Credits and top-ups.

The five working areas

The Nexus menu in Shopify Admin has five working areas and one place for settings. Read Find your way around Nexus for the full menu.

Home

Home is your daily starting point. It opens the dashboard that fits your role: Store overview, Ads overview or Creative overview. Each dashboard shows a summary of yesterday, your KPI cards and the findings worth your time first. Start with Home.

Insights

Insights holds what Nexus finds in your store data. Top findings ranks what Nexus detected. The Products, Customers, CX and Competitors tabs let you look deeper into each area. You move a finding from New to Resolved as you work through it. Start with Insights.

Create

Create is where ads are made. In the Strategy group you decide what to say, with Angles, Concepts and a Testing Backlog. In the Production group you generate images, build a Creative Set in Studio, review the ad and deploy it. Start with Create.

Performance

Performance shows how your ads do after they run. Analyze tells you which ads make money and which ones age. Operate lets you manage campaigns, watch new launches and build audiences. Start with Performance.

Inspiration Library

The Inspiration Library is where you search, save and study ads from competitors, Inspiration brands and brands in your industry. You file the ads you save in folders. Start with Inspiration Library.

Where settings and integrations live

Open Settings to find everything that is not a daily task. The tabs hold your profile, your integrations, your RFM customer groups, your ad rules and your billing. Your team and your brand identity sit under General. See Settings.

  • Integrations. Open Settings > Integrations to connect Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 and other sources. Read Integrations.
  • Billing. Open Settings > Billing to see your credits and billing details. Read Billing. The tab is hidden when your billing is managed outside Nexus.

Look around before your data is ready

After you install, Nexus imports your store in the background. Some pages stay empty until the data arrives. You can explore a filled sample store meanwhile. The numbers in the sample store are examples, not your results. Read Demo Mode and sample data.

  1. Install Nexus and start your setup. Install the app and answer the first two questions.
  2. The setup wizard. Tell Nexus your role, your main goal and your brand, then start your first batch of ads.
  3. While your data imports. See what you can do while the import runs.
  4. Find your way around Nexus. Learn what each menu item and tab opens.
